Well one certainly wouldn’t want to let yourself go over here! The land of the beautiful people – Copenhagen. One of my absolute favourite European cities and always so cool and fabulous I often consider leaving London and marrying some handsome eco-warrior and living green in the land of tandem cycling.
This time however it’s a brief in and out to deliver a stunning little Birkin. In matt croc leather and Hermès rouge, this handbag has a vintage chic feel and suits perfectly my CPH edgy-slash-chic client. Always on trend with a twist she has taught me a thing or two about breaking the rules but keeping a beautiful classic accessory to bring it all together.
We meet at Noma, recently crowned ‘Best Restaurant in the World’. Quite an accolade… and it really does perform. We sample a selection of 20 dishes on the tasting menu and each one even more delicious than the next.
Afterwards we head to Ruby, with its unmarked door and a chic underground scene, this is the perfect place for an early cocktail before the crowds hit and there’s not a chance of space at the bar!
I always find it interesting to see the various incarnations Hermès can have. I love to see a beautiful classic Birkin on the arm of a trendy young fashionista. This luxury brand is beautifully versatile, something that drew me to the French fashion house in the beginning. I leave her to hit the tiles at the best club in town, Sunday Club. No rest for BOL though… next stop Kuala Lumpur!
